This is how Godโs love was revealed among us: God sent His one and only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. 1 John 4:9
I was just listening to the Story of Jesus birth yesterday and I was moved to tears. If you have never heard the story as told by the Lamplighter Theater “You Are There series” I would really recommend it. It is the most accurate that I have ever heard and so realistic. To think that Jesus Christ would come down as a tiny little baby leaving His Father and the riches of Heaven.
I feel like Mary sometimes. She kept all those things and pondered them in her heart. Do you ponder things? Do you wonder sometimes how great God must love us? Do you ever wonder what your life would be like if Jesus hadn’t come? One of my thoughts yesterday was what Jesus did for those 33 years. What was day to day life like for our Lord? Take sometime to just ponder about God. It is going to be a wonderful day when we know all the answers. When we can see Jesus face to face…. when we can sit and talk with Him.
How Great is our joy! Praise God for His unspeakable Gift!
