Book Review– The Brown’s At Mt. Hermon

Today’s book review is going to be about the book ‘The Browns at Mount Hermon’, by Isabella
Alden/Pansy. This story is about a young heiress girl named Mary Brown who, while visiting a little
cottage that she owned, received a letter addressed to a Mary Brown that wasn’t actually meant for her.
She decided to take up the letter’s offer to become a helper in a boarding house at a Christian camp.
Through all of that, she met many different people and through much urging went to the camp meetings
and eventually became saved.
Throughout this whole book, there is a very intricate and interesting twist with so many of the
characters being named Brown. The story has a very interesting, unexpected ending, but I don’t want to spoil the
story, so I won’t say much more.
I really hope that you try to find this book and read it. It was a very interesting book and truly heart searching. Pansy always writes very interesting and soul searching books that make you really think. I hope
you enjoy, and I’ll see you next time with the next book review.
