Hymn Reflection #14–We Have Seen His Glory

(1) We have seen His glory,
The Prince of Peace has come;
He left His heavenly throne above
And made this world His home.

(2) We have seen the glory,
Of the Father’s only Son;

Whose vict’ry rescues us from death,
The curse of sin undone.

God the Father, rich in mercy,
Reaches down from heav’n above.
To offer us salvation
By virtue of His love.
Jesus Christ, the Word Incarnate,
Hero of redemption’s story.
We worship and adore Him,

For we have seen His glory.

(3) We have seen His glory,
Raise your voice in one accord.
Let ev’ry tongue His name confess

That Jesus Christ is Lord!

This song was such a fun one to sing with the big choir. It had a faster tempo and I love the words. I don’t think I need to say much about this song. It speaks a lot for itself. Praise God for sending His gift of His only Son the curse of sin undone and to offer us salvation. He is so rich in mercy, reaching down from Heaven above. Let us raise our voices in praise to our God and let every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

We Have Seen His Glory!
