This is the cabin a few miles from Jed’s that some of them stay at while they are there. I wasn’t up to the trip so I am just documenting again.:)

Reading newsletters and looking at the new calendar. Kari looks like she is enjoying it.

I like your gun tripod Daddy!

Pearl and David were determined to ride horse even in the rain. So they saddled up!

Pearl was wearing Jed’s big waterproof coat. But she said she still got terribly soaked. It didn’t stop them though. They loved it!

Sunday morning snow. Up our way we had 10 inches but after it rained and then froze we only had about 5.

Early morning 7* cave exploring. Just like the good old days with Jed.

David and Samuel were headed back from Missouri and stopped in for the weekend in WV. So Daddy, Mommy and David headed back Monday morning and Pearl, Samuel and Ezra stayed until Tuesday. So they worked on some projects at the Meadows homestead.

Meanwhile back at home it was frigid cold with lots of snow and ice.ย  So we all stayed in Uncle Fain’s living room with the woodstove. And we ate our meals in there also using the wood stove to cook with. This was Sunday lunch tacos.

So that was our eventful weekend. The monthly post will be coming up next week. Hope you enjoy!
